DENVER, March 7, 2011 – Two lucky winners matched all six numbers in Friday's MatchPlay drawing, winning the $220,000 jackpot prize ($110,000 each). The winning numbers are 8 - 10 - 19 - 25 - 26 - 35. The winning tickets must be claimed at one of four Colorado Lottery claim offices no later than August 31, 2011.

The winning tickets were purchased at the Albertson’s store at 500 East 120th Ave., in Northglenn, and the Western Convenience store at 227 West Fillmore in Colorado Springs. The stores will receive a $1,000 selling bonus.

MatchPlay provides consumers three lines of play for $2. Players can select the first line (or opt for Quick Pick), while the next two lines are automatically generated by the system. To win the jackpot, players must match six numbers across a straight line. But players can also win prizes (ranging from $2 to $1,000) for matching three, four or five numbers in any straight line, or by matching five numbers or more in any combination from all three lines. The overall odds of winning are 1 in 6 – better than any other Lottery jackpot game. MatchPlay drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Proceeds from the Colorado Lottery’s games – MatchPlay, Mega Millions, Cash 5, Scratch, Lotto and Powerball - stay in Colorado to improve the quality of life in the state. The Lottery has returned more than $2 billion to the state of Colorado since it was established. Through Great Outdoors Colorado, the Conservation Trust Fund and Colorado State Parks, the Lottery has provided funding for new trails, precious open space and wildlife protection.
