Mary is ready to dash for prizes!

When Mary first got the call, she was shocked and certain it was spam. A frequent participant in second-chance drawings, she compares the upcoming 90-second spree to an 80s game show.

Her strategy is all about preparation and teamwork. She plans to start strength and endurance training, has watched videos of similar shopping sprees in other states for ideas, and is bringing a friend to help coordinate their timing and make the most of every second.

“Mama Mary” is currently a sorority house mom at the University of Denver, where she looks after sophomores, juniors, and seniors. She previously served as a house mom at the University of Oregon and the University of Washington and has a background working with domestic violence shelters. With so many people in her corner, she knows she’ll have a cheering squad on shopping spree day!

While she plans to share some of the dash love with her sorority girls and her two grandsons, her primary goal is to donate a portion of her haul to charities like the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Mary has previously won a few $500 prizes, but this will be her biggest Lottery win yet. She’s especially excited to share the winnings with others and make sure “everybody will get something” this Christmas.
