Play for the experience, not the outcome

Think about the last time you went to a concert, cheered on your favorite team at a game, or went bowling with friends. Chances are, you didn’t expect to get your money back. You were there to enjoy the experience and have fun.

Lottery play can be approached the same way!

Winning isn’t the only part of Lottery play that can be fun. It might be trying a new game, sharing a ticket with a friend, or adding a little excitement to your coffee break.

Those moments are part of the experience. When the focus is on the experience rather than the outcome, Lottery play remains what it’s meant to be: entertainment!

That doesn’t mean you can’t hope for a win. Winning is always exciting. Keeping the possibility of winning in perspective can help keep Lottery play fun and informed, regardless of the outcome.

The Colorado Lottery encourages players to make informed decisions and keep Lottery play enjoyable. Viewing the Lottery as entertainment and maintaining realistic expectations can help make every play a positive experience.
