$600,000 Powerball Ticket Sold in Longmont

DENVER – One ticket worth $600,000 for the Powerball drawing Wednesday night was sold in Longmont. The ticket matched all five of the drawing numbers, but not the Powerball. Since the person selected the PowerPlay option, the ticket is now worth $600,000 instead of $200,000. The winner will have 180 days to come to one of the Lottery’s four offices to claim the prize.

The numbers for last night’s drawing were: 11, 19, 22, 43, 45 with a Powerball of 34. The PowerPlay number was 3. The jackpot for the drawing was $15 million.

In addition to the $600,000 winner, Colorado had 11,415 more winners who won prizes ranging from $100 to $3, for a total of $696,264.

The next Powerball drawing will be held on Saturday, June 24. The jackpot is $20 million, with a cash value of $9,090,909.

Proceeds from the sale of Powerball tickets in Colorado are returned to residents in the form of parks, recreation, wildlife and open space projects. In Fiscal Year 2005, more than  $103 million was returned to proceeds recipients from the sales of all Lottery products, including Powerball, Cash 5, Lotto and Scratch tickets. In addition, more than $249 million was awarded to game winners.
