It was a triple-winner Thursday at our Pueblo drive-thru window!

Three big winners claimed prizes at the Colorado Lottery office in Pueblo on Thursday. Claims staff said all three winners made the trek to the Lottery's headquarters from their respective hometowns and all were in disbelief until they actually held the checks in their hands.

A winner we'll call "John" from Morrison claimed a $20,000 Cash 5 jackpot. The lucky ticket was sold on March 30 in Littleton. His hands were shaking and he told claims staff he plans to help out friends and family who have lost their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A winner who wished to be known as "Little O" from Denver won a $2.3 million Colorado Lotto+ jackpot. His lucky ticket was purchased March 25 at the Frederick Travel Center on Hwy 52 in Frederick.

And finally, Brandon F. from Colorado Springs won $21,000 playing 7-11-21 Scratch. Not too bad for a $1 ticket, right? His lucky ticket was purchased at Safeway on Mesa Ridge Parkway in Fountain. Brandon was grateful to have a touch-free and hygienic way to claim a big prize without having to wait weeks until our offices reopen.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lottery offices are currently closed to the public until April 27. While the Lottery is encouraging mail-in claims at this time, high-tier winners of $5,000 or more can claim in the Pueblo drive-thru by appointment only. Call our office at 1-800-999-2959 to make an appointment.
