While shopping at King Soopers in Thornton, Sandra picked up a Jumbo Bucks Crossword Scratch ticket. After scratching it, she was convinced she'd won $500—a prize she was already excited to claim.
Then the store clerk scanned the ticket.
Instead of $500, the employee at the register revealed it was a $5,000 winner!
Sandra, who works in human resources, says she plans to use her prize to take a trip. It will be a well-earned getaway, and one she'll remember long after the groceries are gone.
