Small-town winner saves to honor late mother
Christine K. of Simla won $2,000 on her VIP Bonus Crossword Scratch ticket! Simla is a tiny town with a population of about 600 located about 50 miles northeast of Colorado Springs. Christine stopped for gas at Loaf N Jug at 1025 Fifth St. in Calhan when she purchased her $10 winning ticket. Christine says she occasionally plays Scratch games, but she was so surprised at her biggest win ever! Christine is disabled and says she will use her winnings to save for her mom’s headstone. Congratulations, Christine!
