Second-chance entry turns into a six-figure surprise for longtime player!

Michael R. of Centennial thought the phone call he received from the Colorado Lottery was a scam.

Then he realized it was real.

"I started to panic and couldn't breathe," Michael said after learning he had won $100,000 in the Colorado Lottery's $100,000 April Bonus Draw.

The winning entry came from a Scratch ticket Michael purchased at Rocket located at 8073 S. Broadway in Littleton. While the ticket itself wasn't a winner, he entered it into a second-chance drawing and ended up with a life-changing surprise.

Michael's first reaction was shock and disbelief. A CDL delivery driver, he has been playing Colorado Lottery games since 1997 and enjoys both Scratch games and jackpot games.

With his winnings, Michael plans to make some improvements to his home and is considering a trip to Hawaii.

Congratulations, Michael!
