Theresa M. of Commerce City thought her Jumbo Bucks Crossword Scratch ticket wasn't a winner and nearly threw it away. Before tossing it, she decided to scan it with the Colorado Lottery app—and discovered it was actually worth $5,000.
Theresa purchased her winning ticket at King Soopers, located at 4850 E. 62nd Ave. in Commerce City.
Now retired, Theresa plans to use her winnings to give her backyard a much-needed makeover.
