Paul T. carried around the winning ticket for a week until he realized what he had: a Powerball ticket worth $2 million!

His winning Powerball Jackpot ticket was purchased at the King Soopers located at 9820 W Belleview Ave in Littleton. Paul won the jackpot prize by matching five numbers: 03, 21, 23, 31, and 59.

His family underwent three major surgeries last year and with a child in college, finances have been stretched for Paul. But not anymore! Paul says he’ll continue to work, travelling for work five days a week, until retirement.

“Staying home will be my retirement,” said Paul who says he may choose a sunny beach to call home.

Paul’s not the only winner. The King Soopers where the ticket was sold will receive a $3,000 bonus. And, Colorado’s parks and open space always win, as $.25 cents from every dollar spent goes back to the Lottery’s proceeds partners to fund parks and open spaces.
