Celebrate the Chinese New Year, based on the lunar calendar, with the Asian Pacific Market employees and us, too! This year is the Year of the Pig! In Chinese culture, pigs are the symbol of wealth. Lucky numbers are 2, 5 and 8. Colors are yellow, gray, brown and gold; flowers are the hydrangea, pitcher plant and marguerite. Those born in a Pig year should avoid the colors red, blue and green and the unlucky numbers 1, 3 and 9.
