Sign the pledge not to gift Lottery tickets to kids to enter a special giveaway

The Colorado Lottery is proud to participate in the 2024 Gift Responsibly Campaign, a global initiative aimed at raising awareness about the risks of gifting lottery products to children. This holiday season, the Lottery is encouraging adults to take a pledge: commit to keeping Lottery tickets out of the hands of kids.

Come see us!

To make it fun, the Lottery is visiting stores around the state this month, where guests can enjoy holiday treats, spin a prize wheel for Scratch tickets and other prizes, and sign the pledge. Everyone who participates will be entered into a giveaway, with winners announced in early January.

The Risks of Youth Gambling
Research shows that exposing kids to gambling, even through gifts like Scratch tickets, can increase their chances of developing gambling problems as adults. This is why the Lottery is committed to spreading the word about responsible gifting.

A Strong Commitment to Responsible Gaming
The Colorado Lottery is one of only a handful in the U.S. to earn Level 4 Responsible Gaming Certification from the World Lottery Association, the highest honor in the industry. Learn more about responsible gaming initiatives on the Know Your Limits page.
