Colorado Lottery Earns Nation’s Highest Responsible Gambling Certification Join us in celebrating a significant milestone!

We’ve got some big news to share: the Colorado Lottery has just been certified at the highest level of responsible gambling by the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) and NASPL—and we didn’t just meet the standards, we exceeded them!

This recognition, called the Sustaining Level of the Responsible Gambling Verification (RGV) program, is the top tier in the country. Only a handful of lotteries have ever reached this level, and Colorado is now one of just two to go above and beyond the requirements.

So what does that mean? It means we’re serious about keeping play fun and safe. From age checks at our kiosks, to in-store compliance checks, to responsible play messaging across our games and ads, we’re working hard to protect players and promote healthy habits. We’ve even got a full-time Player Health Manager focused on making sure our approach grows with the latest research and best practices.
