A stop for gas turns into a winning surprise!
Leslie K. of Centennial is celebrating after winning $1,000 playing the Colorado Lottery's $500,000 Crossword Scratch game.
Leslie purchased his winning ticket at King Soopers, located at 19711 E. Smoky Hill Rd. in Centennial, while stopping for gas.
When he realized he had won, his first reaction was disbelief.
Now retired, Leslie plans to use his winnings to treat his wife to something special.
