Candace V. was visiting friends in Cedaredge when luck struck—she won $10,000 on a $10 Monopoly Secret Vault Scratch ticket!

She stopped at Go-fer Foods, located at 915 S. Grand Mesa Dr. in Cedaredge, to grab a few tickets after her friend bought the ones she’d been eyeing. So, she picked three at random—and one turned out to be a winner.

Candace, who is retired and loves playing Scratch games, says she was shocked when she realized she’d hit her biggest win yet. She plans to use her prize money to pay some bills—and maybe have a little fun, too.
