Michael P. of Arvada is celebrating after winning $100,000 playing the Colorado Lottery's Ruby 8's Scratch game.
Michael purchased his winning ticket at King Soopers, located at 9731 W. 58th Ave. in Arvada, while shopping for groceries.
When he realized he had won, Michael thought it had to be a mistake. But after confirming his ticket, the $100,000 prize was very real.
Now retired, Michael has been playing the Lottery for 30 years. He plans to use his winnings to pay bills and add to his savings.
