We are incredibly proud to be a part of each and every project made possible with our proceeds, but we also like to highlight some stand-outs every year.
The annual Starburst Awards recognize unique and exceptional projects recently completed with the help of Colorado Lottery proceeds. The winners are chosen based on a number of considerations:
- Creativity and stand-out qualities of the project,
- Economic and social impact on the community, and
- The broader impact on our state.
Submissions may include programs and projects such as:
parks, playgrounds, recreation centers, outdoor education programs, land conservation, trail enhancement, open space acquisition, wildlife/natural resource preservation, public school improvements, and so much more.
We encourage you to apply or share with someone who should apply! Help us show off the important work that preserves and enriches our amazing state.
