COLORADO LOTTERY TO LAUNCH NEW ‘PICK 3’ JACKPOT GAME ON APRIL 28

DENVER, April 8, 2013 –The Colorado Lottery will launch its new Jackpot game named “Pick 3” on April 28. Playing Pick 3 is as easy as 1-2-3!

To play, players simply pick three numbers from zero to nine or they can ask the clerk for a Quick Pick. Tickets will cost 50 cents or $1 (depending on bet type) and drawings will occur every night at 7:36 p.m. The prizes range from $30 to $500. Players can win up to $250 on a 50 cent wager or up to $500 on a $1 wager. The odds based on bet type range from 1 in 1,000 down to 1 in 100.

Pick 3 is being introduced to offer players a more robust product portfolio, and is the first game to be offered at the 50 cent price point in the history of the Colorado Lottery. Three-digit lottery games are a mainstay in many parts of the U.S. Today, 38 lotteries across the country offer a three-digit game similar to Pick 3.
