$1 MILLION MEGA MILLIONS WINNING TICKET STILL UNCLAIMED

DENVER, April 19, 2012– A ticket worth $1 million that was sold during the Mega Millions fever that swept the nation the week of March 25 has still not been claimed. The ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven located at 4040 E. 8th Ave. in Denver. The ticket matched five numbers with the “Megaplier” option – making the ticket worth $1 million!The winning numbers were: 2, 4, 23, 38 and 46.  

Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9 p.m. MDT. Mega Millions has a starting jackpot of $12 million and other prizes ranging from $2 to $250,000. To play, consumers choose five numbers from 1 to 56 and one Mega Ball number from 1 to 46. Players that match the five numbers and the Mega Ball win the jackpot. Players can also opt to spend an extra $1 for a “Megaplier” option that will multiply their non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3 or 4 times. Tickets that match 5 of 5 with the Megaplier option automatically win an even $1 million regardless of the Megaplier number.
