Football Mania

Bring it on!
The weather is cooling down and you know what that means. It’s football mania time!

This year Colorado fans are revved up more than ever, so make this year the year to remember. Here are some tips to make the three hours of TV time an awesome experience.

Invite the best of the best: friends, coworkers and neighbors. No party-poopers allowed!
Make it a themed party. Make everyone wear their team’s colors – or tell them to bring snacks that embrace the color theme. Grab some party supplies from the local dollar store to create a party ambiance. Don’t forget balloons!
Choose sides. Start a football pool. Create a spreadsheet and ask your guests to predict who the MVP will be, how many total yards will accumulate, which team will have the most interceptions, and so forth.
Don’t forget the snacks. You can’t watch football without munching through the game. Think lots of assortments!
On commercial breaks, don’t stop playing!

Share the Scratch! Offer each guest a Scratch game. Winners have to raise their arms in the air and shout, “Touchdown!”
Set up a field goal (hula hoop or basket) and have guests throw foam footballs to score.
Play charades. Hand out pieces of paper to everyone at the party with football-related words on them like ‘coach’ or ‘cheerleader’ and have them take turns each break to act out their word.

So make this year the best football year you’ve ever had, and don't forget to play. Touchdown!
