Lottery Introduces New Barnyard Scratch Games

DENVER – Geese, cows, pigs and chickens. The Colorado Lottery has gone back to the farm for the inspiration behind its newest series of Scratch tickets.

The Barnyard family of games will be available on March 20 and include Golden Goose, Cash Cow, Piggy Bank and Chicken Scratch, which sell for $10, $5, $2 and $1, respectively. The top prizes range from $1,000 to $100,000.

Proceeds from the Colorado Lottery’s games – Scratch, Lotto, Powerball, and Cash 5 – stay in Colorado to improve the quality of life in the state by providing grants and direct funding for parks, recreation, open space acquisition, trails, wildlife and conservation education. Since the lottery started in 1983, more than $1.6 billion has been returned to the state.
